JERGENS Wet Skin Moisturizer with Nourishing Monoi Oil Experience & Review

Jergens has a new line of body moisturizers called Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizers. There are 3 formula varieties in this line - Refreshing Coconut Oil, Calming Green Tea Oil, and Nourishing Monoi Oil. 
They're designed to be applied after showering/bathing while skin is still wet;  Their breakthrough new formula blends with water when skin is most receptive to moisture (right after bathing, when your pores are open). Simply rub in and pat dry. 

Of the 3 varieties in the line, I've tried the JERGENS Wet Skin Moisturizer with Nourishing Monoi Oil  I've been using it daily after bathing for a month and I'm happily surprised by how much I like it.  
Seeing "Monoi Oil" in the title had me anticipating I may not like it, since I tend to be unsure about using lotions/moisturizers with oil in them, anticipating they'll feel greasy and oily - I hate feeling greasy & oily.  
However, this moisturizer happily surprised me - It wasn't greasy and felt only slightly oily when first applying, but because it absorbs quickly the initial slight oiliness was gone in a couple minutes.  
And thanks to the scent and nourishing benefits of the *Monoi Oil it contains, it has a lush Tahitian Gardenia scent and leaves my skin feeling soft & smooth.  

(*Monoi Oil is an infused perfume-oil made from soaking the petals of Tahitian gardenias (best known as Tiaré flowers) in coconut oil, and it has nourishing benefits that soften and smooth skin.) 

So overall, I like Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Monoi Oil 

  • it's quick and easy to apply 
  • a small amount goes a long way 
  • it absorbs quickly 
  • it leaves my skin feeling soft & smooth 
  • it leaves my skin looking hydrated & healthy 
  • it's not greasy 
  • it has a nice Tahitian Gardenia scent & leaves my skin smelling good all day.  
I will continue to use and purchase Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizers, and I'm looking forward to trying the other 2 varieties - Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Refreshing Coconut and Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizer with Calming Green Tea Oil.  

So if you're interested in trying a good quality body moisturizer, I recommend giving Jergens Wet Skin Moisturizers a try.  I'm glad I did!

Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers Sampling & Review



Have you heard that Folgers has come out with a line of liquid coffee flavorings called Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers? They come in 4 different flavors, Caramel, Hazelnut, Mocha, and Vanilla.  Just add 4 to 5 drops of flavoring to a cup of coffee, and enjoy.  And their convenient, small sized bottles makes them easy use at home or take in a purse/bag/briefcase & use on-the-go. 

I found out about them when Crowdtap recently offered me the opportunity to be sent all 4 flavors of Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers for free to sample, share, and review. Since I LOVE flavored coffee, of course, I happily accepted! (and eagerly checked my mail daily looking forward to their arrival)

Since receiving them, I have tried all 4 flavors of Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers and Caramel and Vanilla are my favorites.

  
They make it quick & easy to create flavored coffee beverages myself, the packaging & the "squeeze" dispensing make them easy & convenient to use at home and fit in my purse to take and use on the go. I also like that they can be used them in hot or iced coffee, and hot or iced tea, hot cocoa, or apple cider.
The only thing I dislike is that they are sweetened with the artificial sweetener Sucralose;  I dislike the taste and health effects of artificial sweeteners.  However, for people who have to use artificial sweeteners due to dietary restrictions or preference, this being sweetened with Sucralose may be a positive.
So, the only thing I would change is that I'd prefer they be sweetened with sugar rather than the artificial sweetener Sucralose that they currently contain.  Or that Folgers offer a sugar sweetened variety in addition to the Sucralose variety.

If they change or create an additional sugar-sweetened version, I'd definitely buy and continue to use these Folgers Flavors Coffee Enhancers.

I do recommend them to anyone who likes flavored coffee, doesn't mind the Sucralose, and would enjoy an easy way to make flavored coffee themselves.

DripDrop Hydration Powder Drink Mix Experience and Review ~ Berry and Lemon ~ #DrinkDripDrop



I recently discovered DripDrop Hydration Powder for the first time when I accepted Smiley360's offer to send me free samples of DripDrop to try and give my opinion of. 
I was sent a kit containing:
• 3 Sample Stick Packets of  Berry DripDrop 
• 3 Sample Stick Packets of  Lemon DripDrop 
• 2  $2.00 off coupons 
 

 So what is DripDrop? 
DripDrop is an oral rehydration solution (ORS) that can be used to prevent dehydration and to treat mild to moderate dehydration. It was developed by a Mayo trained doctor to be a quality, effective, good-tasting rehydration aid.  

 It's a powdered hydration drink mix that comes in a box of 8 single-serving powdered drink mix sticks, and is available in 2 flavors - Lemon and Berry. 

 It's quick and easy-to-use, just open a packet, empty the powder into a glass of cold or hot water, mix well, and drink. 
   
MY RATINGS: (out of 5 stars) 
Appearance:  *****  
Powder: The Lemon is a whitish-pale yellow, fine powder, the Berry is a pale pink, fine powder. 
When mixed with water: Lemon looks like regular Lemonade, Berry looks like Pink Lemonade. 

 Taste: **** 
Lemon has a lightly sweet Lemonade taste, Berry has a lightly sweet Berry taste.  I like that it's not overly sweet.  However, it contains the artificial sweetener Sucralose, which I could taste in it's slight aftertaste. Since I'm not a fan of the taste of Sucralose and other artificial sweeteners I didn't like that.
Smell:  ***** 
Lemon has a light lemon scent, Berry has a light berry scent. 

Effectiveness:  ***** 
It seemed to hydrate well.  

 Ease of Use:  ***** 
It's quick and easy to use; just open a DripDrop packet, empty it into 8 oz of water, mix, and drink. 

 Price/Value:  ***
It's slightly expensive; A box of 8 packets has an average price of $9.99, which is $1.24 per single serving.   If in need of something to treat dehydration it may be a fair value, but not something I'd consider an affordable value to drink daily. 

 Convenience:  ***** 
It comes in conveniently pre-portioned, single-serve packets that are easy to fit in a purse, bag, or pocked, making them convenient to take and use on-the-go. 

 Side effects/Reactions:  **
It gave both me and my mom gastro-intestinal upset, which we attributed to the Sucralose. 

 My Overall Rating:  ***
If it didn't contain an artificial sweetener, I'd give it 5 stars. 

 Unless DripDrop was to change their formulation by removing Sucralose and use only sugar to sweeten it, I will not continue using and purchasing DripDrop due to it containing Sucralose and the taste & tummy upset that caused. 

 However, I do recommend it as an effective rehydration aid to anyone who doesn't mind consuming and the taste of Sucralose, and isn't gastro-intestinally sensitive to it

NEW Emergen-Zzzz Vitamin Drink Mix Nighttime Sleep Aid Sample & Review



Alacer, the maker of Emergen-C, has come out with a new product called Emergen-Zzzz.  Emergen-Zzzz is a NEW Vitamin drink mix nighttime sleep aid.  It has melatonin to help you fall asleep naturally, plus vitamin C and other antioxidants to fortify your super self overnight.

Based on my experience of Berry PM Emergen-Zzzz and Peach PM Emergen-Zzzz, I like Emergen-Zzzz. 
It's easy to use, just mix the drink mix into a glass of water, and drink.  
It tastes good - I like both the Berry and Peach. 
It has a light fizzyness, which I love - it reminds me of a fruit juice spritzer. 
The Berry PM when mixed with water has a pale pink color, berry aroma, and lightly sweet berry taste. 
The Peach PM when mixed with water has a pale peach color, peach aroma, and lightly sweet peach taste. 
For me, it works to make me relaxed enough to fall asleep within 15 minutes of drinking it, and I slept well. 
As for the morning after, I like that I woke up not feeling drowsy or fuzzy like I've heard some sleep aids can leave you feeling.  
I also like that it contains Vitamins, Minerals, Antioxidants, and nutrients to support immunity and replenish your body, it's an added bonus. 

I will continue to use EmergenZzzz whenever I need something to help me fall asleep.
